My kids love when Baron and I do fun things with them to get them EXCITED for a holiday. For St. Patrick's Day the kids made Leprechaun traps to catch our Leprechaun. We decided to try to trap him with all the things leprechauns like gold money, rainbows, lucky charms and candy. Our traps were unsuccessful. No catching the Leprechaun this year!! The Green Leprechaun only left us with green foot prints, rainbows, and St. Patrick's day attire and a big mess he left in the house. Maybe next year we will get him. The kids loved going around the house finding the footprints all around the house :))
We celebrated early St. Pattys day because we headed to Disneyland for the holiday with the family and cousin Autumn, Uncle Nick and Aunt Sheena. It was so fun to do a trip all together. We love Disneyland and our family. We love living so close to go see Mickey and Friends. We had a blast together like always! We stayed at the Disney Resort the Grand California it was Amazing!!! What a fun trip!! On one of the Disneyland mornings our Family was chosen to open the park. It was an Amazing Experience!!
We made it home. All the kids got in their dentist apts. at the office they put sunglasses on the kids when they clean there teeth. I thought it was too cute!!
Baron had his last B-ball game. He has gotten so good at sports. The other day he made 5 baskets at the park. He also made a few at the game too! He was so proud of himself so were we. Baron also made his soccer goal on the 23rd in a soccer game!! His Daddy was there to see it!
Brecklyn is my little mischievous she loves going to the pantry and choosing treats. I will say Brecklyn what do you have? She will say,"Nothing as she hides her little hands behind her!" She also has one BIG imagination! When I do her hair she always has a doll or toy in her hand pretending. I love listening to her. She comes up with some cute ideas. It is usually about Princesses.
Brightlyn loves taking the kids to school. When we drop them off she always has a snack. She loves bringing her backpack along. She wants to be as big as Bear and Sissy. She loves singing and she always is tells me out of the blue "Mommy I love you!" And she likes saying I love you too much. Instead of so much. It is so cute! The other day she told me," Mommy I am in charge!" She is so loving and has a feisty side.
Braycen loves to snuggle. He loves putting his arm around your neck and laying his head on your shoulder. When he is tired he just wants his bed and little blanket. He will hold his blanket, roll on his right side and suck his thumb only at night it is so adorable. He wants to be as big as all the kids he loves watching them and playing with them. When you say Yea Braycen claps so cute! Braycen got his 2nd ear infection this month :( my poor little guy.
Also during the month Todd came to Las Vegas and surprised us in the parking lot of Mens Warehouse. it was pretty funny, I thought to myself that kid reminds me of Todd then as he walked closer it was him!! The kids, Baron and I were all so EXCITED to see him. He and a friend came to visit. We went to Chilis with my Mom, Carvel, Nick, Sheena and Baron and I. it was a lot of fun! Also durning the month were able to have fun with Tutu. We went to run plus fun with the kids. My Mom has been so great!! We see each other everyday. She has been helping me pick up my little munchkins from school pretty much everyday. Then we usually hit up a snack. We love sending time with our Tutu.
Easter was a blast! Every year during the week of Easter as a family we go see the Easter Bunny and dye Easter eggs. This year after seeing the Easter bunny we took the kids to build a bear. That place is so fun!! I love watching the kids pick their new stuff friend at watch them have so much fun!
Then Egg coloring time!! This is the kids favorite, because their little hands get colored too! This was Braycen first Easter he even liked dropping the eggs in the color. The kids had a great time decorating all the eggs.
On Easter we went to church. Then after church the Easter Bunny came. Little Bear said,"Mommy the Easter bunny is suppose to come at night!"... Mommy thoughts were like not when you have 9:00 church ;) I said,"The Easter Bunny got a late start so he is coming after church!" He wasn't too happy about that. After church the Easter Bunny made it to the Younger Home. Eggs were hidden and Baskets were in hiding spots. My little ones loved running around the house finding eggs and their baskets. They are so fun to watch. Bright was the first one to find her basket. Then we heated up the pool to swim and have a Easter egg hunt in the pool. The kids loved swimming with all the Easter eggs. We had a nice Easter dinner at the house traditional ham dinner Yummy! At dinner we talked about the real meaning of Easter. The kids are still a little young to understand. But we tried!! Baron has been in the interview process for the Project Director of Sales and Marketing of Lake Tahoe. It has been exciting! We are just waiting for the final word that it is Baron new position! Keeping our fingers crossed for the next step in his 9 year career this July. So proud of him!!
